Ottolinger’s Spring/Summer 2026 campaign arrives unpolished. It appears with mud at the hem, wind in the hair, and Lourdes Leon standing between muse, collaborator, and witness.

Photographed by Erika Kamano, Girlfriend moves the collection from the Paris runway into the raw terrain of London, where overgrown gardens, weathered brick, and unmanicured grass give Ottolinger’s vision a lived-in pulse.
The collection explores female friendship as a force of survival, celebration, and transformation. In campaign form, that idea becomes more intimate. As musician, collaborator, and the voice behind Ottolinger’s FW26 show, Leon and Erwan Sene step into the clothes as subject and co-author.

On Leon, pieces such as the mesh Tree of Life T-shirt, the translucent Dragonfly gown, and the deconstructed 4D Wedding dirndl and skirt resist the stiffness of editorial distance. They are worn, inhabited, and brought into contact with the body, the weather, and the ground.

Kamano’s images lean into that friction. The campaign holds Ottolinger’s ongoing dialogue between the natural and the constructed but refuses to make it pristine. London’s crumbling walls, birch trees, untamed grass becomes less backdrop than texture.

For a collection built around friendship, Girlfriend is strongest when it feels personal rather than symbolic. Instead of being simply a campaign face, Leon brings the clothes into the world with confidence, without apology, the way friends often do for one another.
