Versace is once again proving that few fashion houses know how to mythologize themselves quite like it does.

For Fall/Winter 2026, Versace Obsessed, Chapter II continues the House’s ongoing campaign, tapping Steven Meisel to lens a series of cinematic vignettes that blur the lines between archive and present day. Rather than simply revisiting its past, the campaign positions Versace’s legacy as something alive, introducing a new generation to the visual language that has defined the brand for decades.

The imagery is layered with relics from the House’s history: archival magazines from the ’90s and early 2000s featuring Meisel’s iconic photography, previously unseen objects, and rare editions of Vanitas, all nodding to the opulent world Gianni Versace built. It’s less an exercise in nostalgia than a reminder that the brand’s DNA has always been unmistakable.

That same dialogue carries into the collection. House signatures return in full force, balancing grit with glamour, classicism with street culture, and restraint with excess. Leather meets gold hardware, while the Medusa and Greca motifs anchor the collection in the codes established by Gianni and Donatella.

At a time when every luxury brand is mining its archives, Versace Obsessed, Chapter II feels refreshingly unconcerned with reinvention. Instead, it doubles down on the qualities that have always made Versace magnetic: boldness, sensuality, and an unapologetic commitment to excess. The message is clear: true icons don’t need rewriting.
