Rabanne loops back to its origins in its latest campaign, set in Southern Spain—the home of the label’s late founder, Paco Rabanne—where shimmering discs evoke the futuristic Space Age aesthetic that defined his work.

Out of the house’s Parisian studio, Pre-Fall ’26 finds itself in Andalucía, the birthplace of flamenco. Floral-printed midi skirts and long dresses spin and twirl, keyed by Spanish talents like Olympian Carmen Avilés and actor Mitch Robles. Other signature pieces, from laced skirts and long sleeves to metal-embroidered maxi skirts, embody the same electric pulse, while linked metal buttons and discs nod to the house founder’s enduring codes.

Regarded as a pioneer of the 1960s Space Age movement (alongside André Courrèges and Pierre Cardin), Rabanne often crafted dresses from unconventional materials like plastic and metal, fastening them together with wire and glue—an approach that perhaps echoed his mother’s work as a seamstress.

Creative director Julien Dossena references the house’s signature codes in textural elements, from shimmering hardware to voluminous shapes. Metal discs are pieced together into flowing dresses and handbags, while ultra-modern silver skirts and tank tops collide with the rhapsodic energy of flamenco unfolding within the tight-knit setting of a residential housing complex.

Threading together past and present, Dossena ushers in a fresh aesthetic while paying homage to the label’s storied futuristic legacy.
