The spirit of 21 Place Vendôme is heading east. Maison Schiaparelli has announced its first salon-boutique in Hong Kong, opening inside Landmark Prince’s Building—an Asia debut that is intimate, immersive, and surreal.

Imagined by creative director Daniel Roseberry and architecture studio Halleroed, the space reimagines Schiaparelli’s historic Parisian salons through an apartment-like lens. The result is a “surrealist boudoir,” unfolding as interconnected rooms meant to feel personal, theatrical, and slightly unreal.

Design cues lean into texture and gleam: brushed-metal façades, sculptural oval motifs, lacquered wood, mirrored surfaces, and marble-patterned floors set the tone, beginning with a golden façade that acts as both threshold and provocation.

The most literal surrealism arrives in the details—a living room becomes a VIP dressing room, and a sculptural bathtub is reinvented as a jewelry display, filled with jewelry. It’s a deliberate blur between privacy and exhibition, where function gives way to fantasy.

Look up and the mythology continues. The ceiling is a canvas, illustrated by Roseberry with the maison’s codes—keyholes and padlocks, anatomical motifs, celestial symbols, and trompe-l’œil effects—threaded with references to Place Vendôme. The symbols trace back to Elsa Schiaparelli’s Surrealist collaborations in the 1930s, now re-staged overhead like a constellation.

The boutique will carry a curated mix from the Spring/Summer 2026 ready-to-wear collection, leather goods, and bijoux from Fall/Winter 2025, alongside evening and cocktail dresses, trompe-l’œil knits, sculpted denim, and sharply tailored jackets. Highlights include the Secret and Face bags, anatomical jewelry, and sculptural tailoring from recent collections.

“This debut reflects our global strategy to grow with intention – selection only key destinations while preserving the exclusivity that defines our identity. By offering a highly personalized and elevated experience, we aim to create a destination unlike any other.” says Delphine Bellini, CEO of Maison Schiaparelli.

The Schiaparelli salon-boutique opens February 4, at Landmark Prince’s Building, Shop M29, 10 Chater Road, Central Hong Kong—by appointment only.
